Google Meet is an updated version of the Google Hangouts app. This relatively new app suits better for business, including webinars and video calls. Through this application, you can organize meetings with 250 participants. The number also depends on the chosen plan. Google Meet has a lot of valuable functions due to which the app becomes your reliable assistant.

The application has an excellent modern visual component that blends perfectly with the Material Design that is used in all of the leading Google apps these days. Due to the screen, you can focus on rooms (which necessarily group chats) or on persons you talk (one-to-one private messages). We have a traditionally convenient and clear interface of products from Google.

The mobile interface displays information about who is in the meeting. The users also can find out about chatting, conference information. The on and off buttons for the camera and sound are on the screen.

Google Hangouts Meet does not have a wide range of functions but provides everything you need. You can share the screen, share digital presentations, as well as any files that come in handy at the meeting. You can also watch HD videos. To enter, click on the link provided by the meeting organizer. Using the Google Calendar, you can invite people to a meeting by creating an event and entering an email address.

By choosing a corporate plan, you can record meetings on video. The records will be stored in Google Drive Host and a Google Calendar event. After the meeting, the organizer receives a link to the recording by email, which he can share with others. Using this plan, you can also enable live viewing for 100,000 viewers in the domain.

In the paid version of G Suite Enterprise, you will have a connected mobile number with which you are able to join the conference even if you do not have an Internet connection. The app is also provided with communication encryption.

The application has a convenient interface and minimalistic design, in which there is nothing extra. Depending on your plan, you’ll get access to several useful basic and advanced features. It can be used for meetings with colleagues, planning, as well as real-time collaboration. However, there is a lack of features that other services provide today. 

Compatibility 5/5

The program is available on Android and iOS devices. The users of the iPhone, iPod, and iPod touch have to update the version of the system to 11.0. For Android users, the system has to be updated to 5.0 or later versions. 

Conclusion

The app is suitable for business use. On the one hand, it is not overloaded with anything. On the other,  it would be cool to see in it a more extensive range of functions. Besides, to have access to even the basic set of functions for a successful business conference, you will have to choose the right plan and pay while other applications offer the same for free.
